Are My Dragons Medieval?

Dragons are a part of folklore and have been written about for centuries. The tale of St George and the Dragon is one of the most famous of them all and had been around since the Middle Ages. Dragons have been used extensively in heraldry and can be seen emblazoned on shields, helmets and embroidered onto clothing.

So can you sell dragons? Yes and no. Great care needs to be taken to select the right kind of dragon to fit in with the Middle Ages.
Posters, painted boxes, illuminations, resin models of St George & The Dragon and wooden shields are but a few that are great.

There are many dragon items that are for sale these days which are not medieval, indeed are outright fantasy. The dragon & wizard combination is fantasy. Dragon mirrors, candlesticks, mugs, pendants, resin dragon models, Disney dragons and plush toys are generally not good.

Below are images or designs of what's available and whether or not they are suitable.

SUITABLE. THESE LOOK RIGHT AND ARE GREAT!
